Our company is built on customer service and superior craftsmanship. Piller & Putz Construction provides comprehensive residential construction services including custom homes, net-zero and energy efficient construction, custom cabinetry & millwork, and renovations.
Luke has had a love and passion for building from a very young age, when he decided to call himself ‘Luke Hammer’. Luke graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Regina in 2002. From there, he embarked on a successful career working at Sasktel in the marketing department. In 2014, Luke decided to pursue entrepreneurship, starting Piller & Putz Construction.
After noticing that his skills for custom woodworking were aligning perfectly with his existing home building and renovations projects, Contour Cabinets and Millwork was born as a sister company to Piller & Putz Construction.
This expansion allows for an exemplary experience for the customer as another major part of the renovation process is kept in house, offering greater opportunities for customers to achieve custom products with better customer service.
During the week, you will find Luke around town managing his projects, or working at the office on Hodsman Road. Outside of work, he enjoys playing old guy hockey, snowmobiling, hunting and fishing, and spending time at the family cottage at Echo Lake with his wife and two young children.
Adam has been a hands on learner his entire life. After studying engineering followed by geology, Adam graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Science in 2004. Initially employed as an oil field geologist, Adam began to obsess over energy usage and building sciences.
Seeing great potential in the building industry, he started Piller & Putz construction with Luke Piller; excited to deliver custom homes and renovations that exceeded standard building expectations. Adam is trained in Passive House construction and design and is certified as a Net-Zero Home Qualified Builder.
During the week you will find Adam operating the cabinet shop and managing the office on Hodsman Road. On weekends he is either at the hockey rink as a volunteer coach; or he is long gone to the family cottage at Echo Lake to spend time water-skiing, running, hiking or participating in any outdoor activity he can with his wife and two young children.
